We use recycled metals, ethical gemstones, salvaged woods and beach sand to create beautiful handmade jewellery inspired by our natural surroundings. First off, I love my ring. People tell me regularly, that it's one of the coolest men's wedding bands that they've ever seen but I don't even care because I like it so much. I seriously think that it gives me superpowers.
Services
Justin began making jewellery in his London bedroom, straight out of University in 2000. Driven by the lack of contemporary jewellery for men at the time; and inspired by combining unusual materials with precious metals his range started with wood inlay rings. Fast forward two decades and we now offer a full range of unisex rings and accessories inspired by the rugged Cornish coastline.
After finishing his degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art in London, 2000, Justin began making his collections and selling to local galleries. As demand grew he realised he wanted to start his own jewellery business.

He soon found that the cost of living in London was too high to start a small business in designing and making contemporary jewellery and so moved back home to Cornwall and gradually built up the workshop and business to where it is today.A keen surfer, Justin's silver and gold contemporary jewellery is deeply influenced by the surrounding countryside and ocean.
All our diamonds and gemstones are ethically sourced: they are fully traced from their mine of origin right up to the final piece of jewellery they are set in. Due to the nature of small scale mining and cutting, we can't always source identical stones to the ones pictured, but we will try our best to match the colours shown.
We believe your wedding rings should be anything you want them to be. Choosing your wedding ring is an opportunity to pick a really special piece of jewellery that will have unmatchable sentimental value. Our only recommendation is to go for a metal stronger than silver, so it stands the test of time.
We are constantly looking for new and better alternatives to the extensive range of materials we use, from precious metals and gemstones to long lasting tools. The process of ethical sourcing is hard work and although far from perfect, we are pleased with the progress we are making. As more jewellers make conscious changes and consumers become more considerate of where their jewellery comes from it will become easier.

I can't recommend them enough! Their customer service is amazing, they were very helpful with what size I needed as I never wear rings and the one I ordered was for my wedding. I got my ring a couple of days ago (a lot sooner than expected) and it looks amazing!

I ordered one of Justin Duance’s unique, beautiful wood inlay sterling silver rings as a wedding band for my husband in 2013. Despite him knocking it about, it’s lasted beautifully, and only needed slight repairs after over seven years’ worth of wear.
I got in touch with Taiman, who has been incredibly helpful. She suggested an upgrade to titanium,… and offered to fix the original ring as a keepsake.
We’ve just gotten the upgrade in the mail, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The matte finish and darker tone of the titanium complements the smooth wood inlay perfectly

Stunning handmade jewellery, and a fantastic team of jewellers who are very informative and friendly. We found them when looking for jewellers in Cornwall that specialise in Sandcasting. If you are looking for something unique and authentic to Cornwall, then this is the place to come too!

We went to the workshop to order our wedding rings and had a wonderful time. We were so thrilled when our beautiful rings arrived. As things stand at the moment, our wedding plans keep having to change and we… currently don’t know whether our ceremony can go ahead in May, so we decided to put our rings on anyway and just make it official when we can!! A fantastic team who communicate really well and go to great lengths to give you exactly what you dreamed of. We love our sandcasted rings, thank you!

We ordered our wedding rings at Justin Duance and they are awesome!! We searched for someone who is able to do sandcast, but couldn't find anyone in Germany. Sandcast has a special meaning for us because we wanted our rings cast in sand from California as we got engaged there - And that was possible! You are able to take the sand you like, whether you send your own sand or you choose one from their list. The communication with Justin Duance was perfect, we got sample rings, decided everything individual, paid by PayPal and got the rings a few weeks later. We couldn't be happier :-) Highly recommended

I had a titanium ring with an oak inlay comissioned for my wedding ring, I wanted something hardwearing but the wood contrasts with the titanium really nicely. The service and communication from the company was great and the craftsman ship of the ring is top notch. I also really like how transparent their sourcing policy is for the metals and gemstones they use.

First of all, prior to me purchasing my wedding ring, the communication was exceptional. We went back and forth with sample rings to get the right size and style (I had no idea about my size as I don't wear rings/jewelry). They could not have done enough for me and their patience was impeccable . The wooden ring I chose is perfect, very unique compared to traditional wedding bands. Will definitely purchase from these guys in the future.

After seeing my niece’s beautiful engagement & wedding rings that were created by Justin Duance we decided to have some sandcast stacking rings made for my daughters 18th. The rings are just how we hoped they’d be. Absolutely stunning products and brilliant customer service. Thank you !😊

A different jeweller buggered up a piece of jewellery and despite my odd requests Justin was very very helpful in sorting it. Was a pleasure to deal with and I would strongly recommend.

Super relaxed guidance from the team, even when you don't know a thing about selecting the right rings! The sand casting technique is gorgeous, adds a very personal touch.
