I'd give 0 stars if I could.
No electricity in half of the room but refusing to give even a discount.
The business must be struggling but with service like I experienced, I'm not surprised.

Not good. Room dilapidated. Dirty. Breakfast awful, bad enough for my husband not to ask for the missing items from his plate. The only good thing was the waitress at breakfast, she was lovely.

I am not normally one for leaving one star reviews as most places have redeeming features or were just caught on a bad day and other people had better experiences than me.
However this place deserves its one star review, I wish I had paid attention to the other reviews before booking as I would have avoided this place like the plague.
I have never seen a hotel in a worse state of repair and getting a good night's sleep is definitely not going to happen.
This hotel deserves this one star review and worse they have no intention of trying to improve anything, they seemed oblivious to their problems

Can’t review this as a hotel as we only called in for lunch, but it was inedible. I ordered a jacket potato with beans. When it came there was about 1 tablespoon of beans, the potato was black in parts and had uncooked parts to it.
My husband had the bacon and Brie sandwich that was so bad he couldn’t eat it. The bacon was so fatty that he ended up spitting it out. We walked out in disgust!
Don’t be tempted to eat here - the bar area is empty for a reason.

Had to cancel last minute due to health conditions. Writing this review as the staff were so so kind and understanding; they refunded me but didn't have to do this so they clearly care for their guests. Kayleigh answered the phone and was so warm and friendly, following this I was passed to Tommy the manager who again was very kind and friendly. Customer service was exceptional. Whilst I was sadly unable to stay at the hotel itself and therefore cannot provide a review of the amenities, I have to give 5 stars to the staff for their service. Will be booking again when my health recovers for sure

Ok. Room was dated but spacious and bed was comfortable. Noise from street outside at night. Breakfast was good. All shared areas a bit worn and tired but fine for the price and very central.

Not what we expected based on the photos, top floor rooms tend to be a bit noisy and it has a bit of a faulty towers vibe with its wonky staircase. Also, they don't serve full fat Coke or Pepsi, a little odd but not the end of the world. However, it was in a great location and breakfast was pretty good.
