Maiden Marine was established in Spring 1997 on the shores of Lake Windermere, right in the heart of the beautiful Lake District. Thus far Maiden has succeeded beyond our wildest expectations and in 2004, we moved into fabulous new premises at Ferry Nab, beside the Bowness Car Ferry. Which provide the facilities to service the large customer base we have now established.
We have comprehensive facilities to look after our customer's boats. Beside the Lake, we have a cranage bay, slipway and hard standing area where we can carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and commissioning duties. We also have a secure compound and three purpose-built workshop units at Burnside, which is located near Kendal, about 8 miles from the Lake.

Bought a Beneteau Antares 6 from Maiden Marine. The service from Karen and Jim was incredible from start to finish. Their knowledge and support for us as newbies was second to none even going as far as helping us with insurance.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, really deserves 0 stars, my partner had an awful visit to this shop. The gentleman with the large belly was acting inappropriately around her making her feel uncomfortable to the point where She had to make an excuse to leave, she’s a young lady in her mid 30’s and i nor her will ever return to this shop with this disgusting man. Maiden Marine is one of the best run Marine businesses in the country. The staff are friendly , courteous , knowledgeable, and helpful. I say this with almost 50 years personal experience of the marine trade. Nothing is too much trouble for Jim, Karen and their team, they offer fair pricing and good quality ensuring that you get value for money.

Came on holiday couple of years ago
My nearly new mercury outboard that I bought second hand off eBay kept cutting out after a few minutes running not good when you're few hundred yards from were you started.
Went to maiden marine they diagnosed the problem straight away it was the wrong fuel tank connector . They fitted the correct one free of charge only had to pay for the part . I was back on lake Windermere in minutes.
Two years now and my engine has never missed a beat since .
