Sales team were great, unfortunately the terrible customer service has let this company down.
I ordered a wheelchair for my nan to take on holiday and paid for a Saturday delivery, unfortunately DHL did not deliver on the Saturday - so I had to get a last minute replacement from elsewhere. I rang the team up to let them know that I would not be in on Monday as I would be on holiday and therefore wanted a refund for the hire (over £280), the team advised to reject delivery and this would be processed when the wheelchair arrived back with them.
I rejected delivery of the wheelchair, however a

We hired a mobility scooter for a week to attend a festival, after being messed around by another company. Spoke to a lady by the name of Emma, she was really great - helpful and friendly. Was given a call to confirm the booking on the Friday before the Monday delivery, also on the morning half an hour before. All staff were very approachable and professional, delivering an immaculate 'buggy'. Would definitely recommend Horizon and did to others at the event! Many thanks 👍

Please do not use this company. My partner hired a mobility scooter in February after a skiing accident, the scooter stopped working, we were due a refund for 2 weeks hire, they agreed that there was a fault and our deposit refunded but after 4 phone calls and numerous emails we are still awaiting a refund. This happened way before the lockdown and they have had every opportunity to reply and refund. Interestingly they respond straight away to sales enquiries within half an hour!

My mother bought a chair from this company for my father after hiring it for a couple of weeks . She was advised that they would buy it back if necessary. Sadly, my father died on the day the chair was paid for and my mother has been phoning and emailing the company ever since but is fobbed off or ignored everytime.

Bought a Mayan, quite well built but not worth the high price, plastic tiller adjuster clamp, battery cover held on by sticky velcro etc. It is also relatively small compared to others, warranty not worth the paper it's written on. You have to pay for shipping, labour and parts - so no warranty then? Good scooters available at less than half the price, not helpful with any problems too.

My father had broken his hip. The hospital said there was nothing they could do to help as he had been sleeping in a chair as he could not get upstairs. So we rang horizon and hired a bed. Then a nurse turned up and said she would get a bed that would help him. Despite ringing back and explaining this company took £400 off my 80 year old father and refuse to refund any of it. He paid delivery, hire and collection. Fair enough to pay the delivery but the whole amount to be taken and they still have the bed to rent out. Fobbed off, no response and lousy customer service. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I hired a wheelchair for my elderly auntie who cannot walk long distances. The hire was fine however the pickup service has been incredibly appalling. Firstly, this company was instructed to pick up the wheelchair at a certain address, however the delivery driver visited the wrong address SEVERAL TIMES. He was advised by us that the wheelchair was at a different address and he seemed to have no idea of what we were talking about, highlighting the point that the company has no communication with the courier staff and the level of customer service is terrible. This company has robbed my parents of £550 . Sent them a bed that my dad was not able to use as it was too short . He returned the bed unused after 2 days of receiving it. Except for a long long email of waffle this company has shown no empathy and my pensioner parents are £550 out of pocket. Aged uk provide a far better service and full assessment prior to any equipment being dispatched.

I bought a Horizon Mayan A/C approximately three months ago, and now have about 500 miles on the clock.
Ordering was such a pleasant experience. Graham showed me the capabilities of the machine whilst enjoying a complementary cup of tea.
Through the ordering process we went into the factory to detail colours, wheel/tyre configurations on actual models. My weight and height were taken to ensure the suspension etc. were configured for me.
I was given a delivery date and the my new scooter was ready for collection. I decide to collect the scooter using my trailer. I was advised how to load and

Terrible experience. Tried to hire a wheelchair for my daughter. They took the money and sent a broken chair. Returned and exchanged it but replacement was wrong size. Returned that and they are now refusing refund saying we broke chair. It was broken as cane out of box. Trying to get more money for the repair and refusing refund. Wasted money and 3 days staying in forcdeliveryvand collection. Avoid at all costs if you do use them have independent witness when you open box. No chance to examine goods at time of delivery.
