We have been clients of Ilan Eardley for at least 15 years. During this time, we have always found his advice to be careful and sound, based on thorough discussions with us and evaluations of the kind of people we are, about what we want and what we think our future needs may be. We meet at our home, which helps to make everything more relaxed.
He worked in agriculture for 10 years before starting his career in financial services in 1997. In 2004 Ilan set up his own practice. Ilan decided that he would like to work with a select number of clients in Wiltshire and Dorset. Ilan believes that with a smaller client base he can provide good quality consistent service.

I originally contacted Ilan some 10 years ago as I had accumulated numerous policies throughout my professional working life and I also needed advice regarding retirement and investments. Ilan from the start took time to investigate my circumstances and take note of my wishes. I felt an immediate financial benefit as the policies i no longer needed were cashed and my outstanding loans paid off. My investments were sorted and pension needs put in place. All have proved to be financially sound and i am now in a much better position financially because of Ilan. I am totally satisfied with Wessex Financial

I had quite a number of pensions and life policies that i'd been talked into taking out over the years ! it had got a bit out of hand, he was able to look at them all and weed out the low performers.
Ilan was able to help me set up a number of investments that preformed well, and when sold helped buy a holiday home overseas.
He is also a good sounding board and advises us on our property investments.

I sought Ilan's advice, having just sold my flat in London. I was unsure what to do next, whether to open a portfolio or to buy another property. He explained clearly, in layman's language, a few options, pointing out advantages and pitfalls for both.
He printed out some scenarios and plans for me. I did not feel pressurised. Since then, I have felt more relaxed, not having to worry. I now feel that I can make plans for travel and hobbies, as well as my future after retirement.

When a family member passed away over a decade ago, we inherited Ilan’s services along with her estate, as he had been advising her, and we couldn’t have managed without him. He helped us to sort out her investments, and gave us excellent advice, and we have continued to use his financial planning services ever since.
