Ceramic braces are fitted to the front of your teeth, and consist of subtle, clear or tooth coloured brackets with metal wires running through them. Compared to metal braces, ceramic braces are an attractive alternative because they are simply much less noticeable. The brackets are a similar size and shape to metal brace brackets however they are clear or tooth coloured and so blend in more.
Clear aligners which involve using Invisalign braces are probably our most popular treatment, simply because they are so easy to use. They are an almost invisible appliance which is ideal for those who are in the public eye or who simply want to smile without worrying about their braces showing. The clear Invisalign aligner is similar to a mouthguard and is excellent at straightening crooked, gappy or even overlapping teeth.
Lingual Braces can be used to treat a variety of orthodontic problems and are an extremely discreet way of straightening teeth compared with traditional metal braces. They are comprised of small brackets and arch wires that are bonded to the back of the teeth making them virtually invisible to other people.
Metal braces are the traditional "train track" braces. They consist of small metal brackets that are fitted to the front of your teeth with a wire running between them kept in a position like a railway by small elastic bands. Train track braces are still widely use as a treatment and are very effective.

I went to discuss my options in regards to straightening my teeth. The receptionist was rude and uninterested. The orthodontist consultation was very rushed, even to the point he was speaking very fast to get me out as quickly as possible. He was more interested in what my job was which I found very strange. I'll go elseaelse. It's a no from me .

From the initial consultation, the standard of service has been amazing. We were given a lot of advice of how best to straighten the teeth and the results we could expect, and supported in making our choice. The staff are helpful and friendly and appointments can be booked to fit around work.
The results are already noticeable and the clear brace is far better than it looked in pictures, from a short distance it is not even noticeable.
Really pleased and would recommend.

The staff are friendly BUT they're always having their own conversations about things out side of work so they don't pay attention to what they're doing or how much discomfort they're giving you. They leaned on my gums too hard and scratched it and it could have been avoidable if they'd payed attention. The metal retainers they put in wasn't shaped properly so it stabbed into the roof of my mouth and caused an infection. The wire of the braces was left way too long at the ends and sratched the inside of my mouth. Not happy with the service

A great service and amazing staff; they’re really approachable, helped me find the best payment plan and it’s never a bother booking an appointment 😊 I had ceramic braces in for just over a year to straighten a couple of overlaps and goofy teeth and now I have the confidence to smile again, thanks to Emma and the team! With me having permanent retainers in post-treatment, I was clearly advised on how to take care of them and to call if I had any trouble; their aftercare has been second to none - thank you! ✨😁✨ If only everything were such a breeze!

Teeth have gone from flop to fantastic, i could not be happier with my teeth, after two years of pain'fun' braces at university i can not be brace free. 100% recommend Oldham Orthodontics, Cheryl couldn't of been more helpful with my braces, she even pushed for my top brace to be removed prior to going to a holiday. Emily was also very lovely, among the other staff members, i will miss them greatly! if only i had another set of teeth to fix!
Thank you guys!
