Have been purchasing from Flying-Tigers for many, many years. Never had any problems that were the companies fault. When emailed always had quick and polite responces keeping up to date with supply issues etc. Thoroughly recommend to do business with.

Extremely poor company.
I had 3 models on pre orders, one dating back to August 2020. I recently contacting them to cancel one of them as I no longer wanted the model and I was told that ALL of my orders were cancelled shortly after I placed them so I was waiting for models that were never going to arrive and have since sold out and discontinued. This is very unprofessional. I have repeatedly emailed them to find out why but no reply which is so rude and ignorant. Customer service is so appalling I was forced to report them to Trading Standards. AVOID THIS RETAILER.

Not recommended, ordered 2 models in October 2020, however, till date no delivery, no communication why the delay, nothing.
If there are issues with the supply or delays, especially during Corona times, I fully understand if someone tells me and I will have patience, but to not communicate at all is just not god.
I bought a model here couple of years back and all went well, therefore I came back. This time, unfortunately, nothing went well..
If FlyingTiger can get their mojo back I am willing to shop here again but for the moment there are much better options out there, so unfortunately this

Not recommended.
This used to be a good company from which to order and pre-order diecast models, but as other reviewers have stated, it has gone seriously downhill in recent months.
Richard Darling at Flying Tigers does not respond to emails, does not send models promptly (even when they are claimed to be in stock) and ignores customer requests for individual models to be sent as soon as they become available (with the customer having clearly stated that he is prepared to cover the multiple postage costs for multiple pre-orders, to ensure punctual delivery).
All to no avail, so I will be cancelling

Extremely poor experience with this business.
Having previously had an issue with an order last year that is still unresolved, against my better judgement, I placed an order with them again, trusting in humanity and hoping my previous order was one off.
It's now been over a week and I have and Zero replies to my emails/facebook messages I have sent requesting an update when my order will be shipped.
I have raised a claim with Paypal for a refund.
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TAKES YOUR MONEY DOESN'T DELIVER GOODS.

When I first started buying models from Flying Tigers, I could not fault the service or the competetive prices. However, over the last 12 months all has changed. If I have pre-ordeted models then I have had no correspondence from the seller to inform me that the models are in stock. When I have emailed I have never received a reply. I then have to make a phone call which seems to prompt them into dealing with your issue, ie: sending your overdue model out to you.
The website states that all models in stock are posted the day they arrive in store or the very next day during busy times.
Beware

My first orders were all good, but the last order was very dissapointing. The long awaited modell was incomplete with parts missing. At first they seemed to be interested in getting the fault done by answering, but then there was no answer anymore and no change offered. This was about 8 weeks at all. So even in pandemic times this is not the way customer service should be.

Bought a PIA AP AXG B707 cargo model today for good value for money £51.99.
I hope to see quality of the model when it arrives at my home address.
AP AXG 707 340 B was the last all cargo operating aircraft for PIA and it was scrapped in approx 2002. This aircraft has also been leased out to british caladonian in early 1970s and returned back to PIA in approx 1973 and then it was in the mid 70's converted into a freighter .
AP AXG had many visits to heathrow running a all cargo service from approx 1989 upto 1999.

Richard the owner is a very friendly, helpful and on the ball chap. Who managed to source some models for me and also informed me of some releases that I wasn't aware of. I couldn't recommend him (Flying Tigers) enough. Also very competitive prices
