Waterside Wealth Management, our entire ethos is built around providing our clients with the very best, completely impartial advice, to help you make the right decisions about your finances. We are not tied to any providers, and prefer to be paid by our clients for the work we do for them, as opposed to taking commissions or incentives from third parties for the products we supply.

This means that our advice and recommendations are for your benefit alone and are based purely on market intelligence and a good understanding of the various pension and investment vehicles available.

As a method of saving for retirement pensions can offer very good tax advantages. However, with the tax advantages there are rules that restrict the use of the funds which may not be suitable for all clients. In deciding on how best to make use of an existing pension fund (and whether further contributions are the optimum route for saving) we will take many factors into account.
With regard to investments, we believe that there are three considerations which are the key to giving the right advice to our clients. With regard to tax efficiency, we aim to utilise all available allowances for our clients. As an example, many of the clients we meet for the first time are not using their tax-free Capital Gains exemption fully each year.
