Scarfe Audio Visual is a family firm which has been well-known in the TV and audio trade in Norwich since the 1950s. Robert Scarfe took over what was then R Baker in Denmark Road from his grandfather - also Robert - after serving an apprenticeship as a TV engineer at Panks in Upper St Giles.
Scarfe Audio Visual was one of the audio retailers which set up Hi-Fi Markets, which was a successful national independent retail chain importing brands such as NAD direct from the Far East.It also sold the first video cameras - with unwieldy separate recorders - which became available in the early 1980s.

If you simply want a programme of up to two hours burnt to DVD-R, opt for our entry-level high quality no-frills service, which costs 20.00 for a single video clip or tape to DVD. Each additional video clip or tape to the same DVD costs an additional 6.00. Or you may prefer transfer to video files (MP4 format) which can be viewed on any Mac or PC laptop, tablet or smartphone.
The past may seem like another country when you come across old reel-to-reel audio tapes - and more recent redundant items like VHS and audio cassettes. Your family history, maybe including those you have loved and lost, is often locked away so you can't watch or listen to it on your DVD or CD player.
