Services
As the island's only independent network operator, WightFibre will build and operate the future-proof, full-fibre, ultrafast broadband network that will bring the benefits of Gigabit speed connectivity to the island from our dedicated centre in Cowes.

With the network planned to reach around 50,000 of the 61,000 homes and business on the island, WightFibre is helping the island to compete globally by creating an infrastructure with unlimited potential for the future, enabling new services in the public, private and residential sectors. As a company, we have worked with Virgin for many years; our relationship goes back to the original builds that started in the late 1980s.
We have been maintaining telecom networks for our clients for over 10 years. Our experience of multiple telecom networks enables us to respond quickly to issues as they happen. For over 10 years we have operated on the Openreach Network as a supplier for Telent.

Having delivered over 30,000 individual orders ranging from diversionary works, repairs and maintenance, or delivery of NGA and BDUK projects, we have gained invaluable experience of reacting quickly to high-volume low-value orders.Openreach's high-quality standards and demanding delivery performance expectations truly shaped how we manage process and systems to work very quickly and efficiently.
As fibre networks evolve onto Openreach Duct and Pole Access (DPA), our cross-trained fibre engineers are able to climb and access this infrastructure. As our clients expand hybrid networks to make use of this opportunity, we are developing our teams to suit their needs. As we expand this service, we ensure that we maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
It's our amazing staff and systems behind the scenes that make everything work. Our culture of continuous improvement helps us maintain effective systems and processes. Having the right people doing the right things with the best technology is how we deliver on our promises. Monday is a great tool for project managing every build.
Cable pulling, blowing fibre, splicing and testing: our engineers are equipped to deliver an end-to-end service on all telecom networks. No matter whether it's copper or fibre, our team of specialist cabling engineers connect infrastructure through conventional and direct buried duct or FTTP to fit our clients' specifications.

I come from a family of contractors and have nothing but respect for the type of work they have to do so it pains me to write this.
This company have been contracted by CityFibre to do the works for Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth.
We have been waiting months to have our windows replaced on our rented property due to the seals broken on our current ones (mopping leaks, increasing mold, the freezing cold not kept out, hospital visits!).
Can you imagine our horror when CCN Communications refused to remove their vehicle that was parked dead centre to the entrance of our car park, they could have

No prior notification that footpath was to be closed and then left unsecured road plates over a small trench that then moved and were a hazard to traffic all weekend. Police called another contractor to make safe but there was little they could do. Reported to Highways as a safety breach according to the regulations. Installed a comms box on a narrow pavement regularly used by people with electric wheelchairs, presenting a hazard. Give the impression of being cowboys.

Allowing staff to take work vans home may be a necessity however when it is in a location where parking is already difficult(Stamshaw)! With a digger on a trailer attached! 2 nights in a row is totally unacceptable. Definitely wasnt on a job either as was late in the evening. Totally disguated with this and very displeased! Shocking behaviour from your company and employees.

After covering three of our employees cars in dust and dirt without warning us first they told us they would come into the office and give us money for the three cars to be cleaned. Three days later after a weekend of rain i ring again and im asked if they're still dirty? Luckily photographic evidence is enough but I know a refund wont be issued hence the review. Rude staff and no communication from a communication company!!!
AWFUL!
