Genko Nito-ryu is a style recompiled from Yamaguchi-ryu, which was established in the 6th year of Genna (1620). Yamaguchi-ryu is a style founded by Yamaguchi Umanosuke Ietoshi (His "go" was Bokushinsai) who was born (1582) 2 years earlier than Miyamoto Musashi (1584).The style was transmitted down through the Toyama-han, which was a branch of the Maeda-han.
Mugai Ryu Iaido is an old, authentic martial art of the Samurai. It was founded 1693 and passed down the generations. The style has a deep connection to Zen Buddhism and has a plain beauty with direct efficient techniques and a characteristic calmness and sharp attention. The dojos in the Mugai Ryu Europe federation teach Mugai Ryu Meisha Ha under grandmaster, Niina Toyoaki Gyokudo Soke.
The Meifu Shinkage Ryu(MSR) is a modern school of Shuriken Jutsu. It was founded by Dr. Chikatoshi Someya Sensei (Someya Chikatoshi) in the 1970s. Someya Sensei was a student of Yoshio Sugino Sensei of the Katori Shint Ryu, although the throwing style used in Meifu Shinkage Ryu is different. Someya Sensei refined the Katori style of throwing, making it shorter, faster and more concealed.
