Uncrowded, uncommercialised, unspoilt this is the British Virgin Islands, a true luxury holiday destination. The British Virgin Islands is an idyllic destination for those seeking deserted white sand beaches, crystal clear waters with amazing snorkelling and diving and arguably, the best sailing in the world.
The British Virgin Islands are part of a volcanic archipelago located in the northern Caribbean and is a British overseas territory. The largest island in the BVI is Tortola - home to the capital Road Town and Sage Mountain National Park with its lush rainforest. Virgin Gorda is home to the Baths, a labyrinth of massive beachside boulders and even more stunning beaches.

Have you ever stood on warm powder soft sand and been struck by the peacefulness and beauty all around you? I was a little surprised when I checked into my first hotel and was not given a room key - but soon came to realise that this was fairly normal practice, and an indication of how safe the BVI are.
The British Virgin Islands - unspoilt, uncommercialised, uncrowded - the way the Caribbean used to be 30 years ago. There is a variety of accommodation to choose from - from small and inexpensive hotels and apartments to 5 star deluxe hotels and villas. Your holiday will be tailor-made to suit your particular requirements.
With its lush green landscape, flower covered hillsides and powdery-white sand beaches, Tortola has many fascinating nooks and crannies to explore, on foot, by mountain bike, or by jeep.
From Skyworld, situated a quarter of a mile above Road Town (the capital of the BVI), with its breathtaking views over the Caribbean Sea to the almost deserted sandy coves and bays that punctuate the coast line of the beautiful British Virgin Islands, Tortola offers a variety of places to stay and yacht populated marinas.

Virgin Gorda in the beautiful BVI is the third largest island in the British Virgin Islands situated in the northern Caribbean. Virgin Gorda is home to The Baths, a unique formation of gigantic beachside boulders which form a series of pools and underwater grottos - a snorkeller's paradise. A trail leads to the stunning beach at Devil's Bay.

I would recommend a vacation in the unspoiled British Virgin Islands. The people are genuinely friendly and they all seem to know Joyce, the proprietor of BVI Holidays. Probably because she has been involved for such a long time. She tailor-made a very special holiday for us using her knowledge of the islands and her contacts there. We are looking forward to going back again one day.
