I specialise in wedding & family portraiture, with a strong emphasis on delivering strong, stylish and timeless images with a personal touch, within London, Hertfordshire, Essex and all over the UK. I love to photograph portraits of families, babies, and children, as well as maternity shoots and of course weddings and civil ceremonies.
It is currently the start of December, and feeling pretty cold and wintry. Thus I thought it would be nice to go back to earlier this year and visit Jon and Imogen's late summer wedding. I had lots of fun when I met this bride and groom back in the spring and when we went.

Hi, my name is Andy Brooks, and I confess to being absolutely passionate about photography. I have been taking photographs since my teens and have over the last few years developed a particular style and love for recording people - this has been exponentially increased since the birth of my photogenic but slightly photographically unco-operative son.
In this guide you will find details of the types of portrait session I offer, how these sessions work and how much they will cost. You will be surprised how affordable they are. I like to keep things simple - have your shoot and then select your favourite images and purchase framed prints or electronic images from the 'a la carte' list.
Our memories of special events are perhaps some of our most treasured possessions. Weddings are no different, and your photographs ensure your memories of this special day will never fade. I approach your wedding photography as a storyteller, with an emphasis on recording your day as it happens and capturing the essence of your wedding in an unobtrusive manner.
I photographed this set back in the Autumn, but have only just sat down to add these to the blog - the wait has been worth it for me though and revisiting these images to compile this post has been gratifying as I had forgotten how much I like these images - so it gives.

When we met to discuss their wedding plans, Andy and Emma let slip their love of lavender. Thus a plan was hatched between the three of us. Fast forward nearly a year and we found ourselves meeting one very sunny afternoon at Hitchin Lavender Farm for their pre-wedding photography stint. When I photographed their Ingatestone Hall wedding.
