A 21st century artist's studio and art gallery based in the Northern Lake District area of Cumbria, incorporating traditional vernacular features and materials in a modern design, exhibiting contemporary paintings by Sue Glassford and other artists. A Grade II* listed clay, cruck thatched longhouse restored to its 17th century format with a grant from English Heritage.
Visitors are welcome to visit by chance or by appointment, but it is advisable to ring if you are travelling any distance. There is some parking at Meadowbank and there is easy wheel chair access to the studio and part of the house. There is also a toilet for disabled visitors. Meadowbank Farm is in the village of Curthwaite, 5 miles SW of Carlisle, and is just off the A595.
