CG Motorsport-Clutch Specialists are one of the largest independent clutch manufacturers in the UK. Established in 1992, We have been manufacturing and supplying performance clutches for the industry for over 30 years and are one of the leading suppliers of handmade fast road and competition clutch and flywheels in the UK.
Mick started his engineering career at the age of 16, working as a mechanical engineer across the country for various small businesses, before going solo in 1992 and establishing CG Motorsport-Clutch Specialists. Mick has over 30 years engineering and technical experience within the clutch and motorsport industry and is on hand to offer technical advice and support to all of our customers, old and new.
CG Motorsport Stage 1 performance clutch kits will allow you to unlock the power of a modified car smoothly and efficiently through your transmission set up. Our Stage 1 clutch kit gives you the best possible clamping forces available in this class. This is an ideal clutch if you are just starting to get into the tuning scene.
The CG Motorsport Stage 3 performance clutch kit is designed for tuned cars, perfect for unlocking the extra power of your vehicle. Comes with our unique grooved and curved slotted design, allowing a vast reduction in surface heat and distributes an extra 7-8% load to the drive plate. The clutch kit supplied maybe 4,5 or 6 paddles depending on the size of clutch kit or your order requirements.
The CG Motorsport 385-Supersport clutch kit is intended for applications where the vehicle performance has been increased above standard i.e. All our 385 Supersport aluminium clutch covers are manufactured from brand new components in our workshop using the best materials available. The CG Motorsport 385-Supersport clutch kit has been load and lift checked to ensure quality control before leaving our workshop.

Brilliant service every time from the lads and ladies at CG, used them a few times and they have been super helpful and very quick to turn around parts. They were able to build me a clutch that is not only daily drivable but also strong enough to handle the hard driving and twice the power the car was designed for. Very high recomendation from me.

What an incredible clutch manufacturer.
After modification to the bmw, the standard clutch lasted until the first pull.
CG Motorsports clutch has now done over 50k miles of relatively hard use. I recommend CG to a relative with similar modifications and again, never had a clutch slip since.
so impressed with the quality of this product, I will only use these guys for uprated clutches. I really cannot recommend enough. Thankyou.

I've had a CG motorsport paddle clutch in my insignia vxr running 410bhp for the last 2 months and it has been faultless...
Listen to the running in procedure (I know it's hard when you've done other mods) but if you Listen you'll learn!! It takes a little bit of a change in driving style but I can not fault it!!

Bought a stage 2 clutch for my 2016 Golf R which I was told by the owner of the company that is what I needed so trusted him as I didn’t have much knowledge on clutches.
He advised me not to put my foot down for the first 500 miles which I didn’t.
Once over the 500 mile mark every time you set off or reverse the clutch makes a terrible grinding noise so rang them back up went down to see Mick who told me it was fine and I should expect some noise with a stage 2 clutch and it would settle in.
5000 miles later and it still doing it sounds like an old reck, he offered no help or advise on the

I'd rather crawl naked through a field of thorns lines with barbed wire than buy off these con merchants.
I ordered a flywheel for my BMW 330D having been told it was in stock on the shelf in front of them. It didn't arrive despite assurances it had been shipped. I was later told it would be shipped and then that it wasn't in stock. I was told I would receive a refund but that never appeared despite weeks of chasing and ignored emails. Eventually got my money back via a charge back through the bank but would never send these cowboys another penny.

Bought the stage 2 clutch and pressure plate, and had the flywheel machined to take OEM Clutch. Clutch started slipping after a couple of miles, slave cylinder gave in after a week! Took it down and explained that they machined it down. They completely denied it even though they was a spacer on the slave to compensate for the flywheel been trimmed.
Do not use this company, complete cowboys. Waste of money and time.
