We aim to afford comfort, excellent care, dignity, good food and to ensure that the quality of life at Claremont Park is as high as we can make it. We have two registered nurses on duty daily and one nurse throughout the night. Our nurses are passionate about providing care for elder people and that they receive regular updates to their training. Our nursing team is stable and most nurses have worked in the Home for a number of years so they know our residents very well indeed.
We have renovated our assisted bathrooms, upgraded to power and manual assisted hoists for easy to use bathing solutions. The powered transfer seat and variable-height adjustment on the bath means carers will not need to manually lift residents in and out of the bath. The latest bathing solutions for more independent residents.
If you wish to secure a place for you or a loved one in our home then all you need do is inform the Manager (or the nurse in charge in her absence) and she will call you to discuss the next steps. Those who are self funding should apply to the local authority for free personal and nursing care.
Those who are receiving funding assistance should also contact their social worker to inform them they would like to move to Claremont Park nursing home; your costs will be means tested and the local authority will decide how much you should pay towards the cost of your care.Your social worker will discuss arrangements with the Manager and may forward any relevant information with your consent.

We hold quarterly meetings for relatives but if you wish to meet without management being present you are more than welcome. You may then wish to discuss any matters arising with management. If you are interested then please see the Manager to discuss further. We also hold regular resident meetings to discuss home life.

Manager Ellen is very rude especially after the death of my grandmother! other members of staff have no telephone manners and dont know the correct way to approach relatives, residents of the care home seem the be very unhappy when I have visited!! Very disappointed in the way this care home deal with relatives after losing a loved one!
