Stevens Solicitors & Advocates
Stevens Solicitors is one of the largest criminal defence firms in the country. With over 25 years' experience, we specialise exclusively in criminal defence work. When you instruct Stevens Solicitors you can therefore be certain that every member of staff you speak to is an expert in their field. We spend every day working to assist clients who find themselves in a similar situation to you.

With offices across the Midlands, we are present daily at a large number of police stations, courts and prisons in that area and are also able to deal with cases across England and Wales. We know that being accused of a criminal offence can be a distressing experience and that's why it's important to choose the right firm of solicitors to defend you.
Services
For over 25 years Stevens Solicitors have specialised exclusively in Criminal Defence work. We provide a quality service and all partners and staff have the necessary high standard of knowledge, experience and skill to enable us to deal with any type of matter, from a speeding offence to a murder charge.
We pride ourselves in our reputation for providing high quality, fearless legal advice and representation across the entire range of criminal offences. We deal with a high volume of work and expect our solicitors to be adaptable and able to quickly grasp a case and present it in a compelling manner.
You explained my situation very clearly to me and your advice and understanding made me feel more at ease. Thank you for representing our son at court We wanted to reiterate our appreciation for all you did for him and us on that day which was above and beyond your remit. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks for all the support the team at Stevens Solicitors have provided to me over the years.
If the police are to question you about a criminal offence whether or not you have been arrested (known as being a "volunteer"), you are entitled to legal advice at a police station or elsewhere. We are available to provide advice and representation on a 24 hour basis to those under arrest, to those attending as volunteers and also to witnesses assisting the Police with their enquiries.
Many agencies other than the police have the power to interview people under caution with a view to bringing criminal proceedings against them. This can include local councils, the Department for Work and Pensions, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, the Serious Fraud Office and the RSPCA.

Although you are unlikely to be arrested if one of these bodies is dealing with your case, your answers to their questions can be used in any later criminal case against you.Our trained staff can represent you in these specialist interviews to ensure that your rights are fully protected from the outset.
