Services
We are a specialist orthodontic practice in Bournemouth with a long history of providing high-quality orthodontic care. We provide a full range of orthodontic treatments with a variety of appliances. Treatments could range from simple alignments, taking as little as six months, through comprehensive complex orthodontic treatments taking longer time with full upper and lower appliances to advanced cases involving jaw surgery.
NHS orthodontic treatment is available for children under 18 years of age who require braces for dental health reasons or marked cosmetic problems. The IOTN (Index of Treatment Need) is used in the UK to assess the need and eligibility of children under 18 years of age for NHS orthodontic treatment on dental health grounds.
Before and after records, at the start and end of treatment, replacing the traditional unpopular alginate impressions. Scans can be sent to Invisalign or Incognito to manufacture the appliances, replacing the traditional Silicone impressions and providing a much more pleasant experience for the patient.
At its simplest it may be about aligning a couple of wayward teeth. At its most complex it may be about adjusting the jaw position within the facial complex; with the help of growth in a child (orthopaedics) or with the help of jaw surgery, if required, in an adult. Most people come to see us because they are unhappy with the appearance of their teeth.
Your dentist would like specialist advice about the position of your teeth. The orthodontist will advise on this and whether you would benefit from orthodontic treatment. Adults can have orthodontic treatment at any age. In fact, in certain circumstances it can be a much better choice to avoid having other complex and expensive conventional dental treatments such as cosmetic crowns and veneers on the front teeth.

My son had an appointment with Orthodontist Kalli and Nurse Nats this afternoon. The prospect of having orthodontics when you are a 14 year old boy is quite daunting but Kalli kindly talked us through the process, the duration of the treatment and importantly the care that my son will need to apply at home to achieve the best results. Nats was extremely welcoming and professional and worked well with Kalli. Also what a spotless practice! Really clean & tidy
