Services
We prepare your financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards and using the best practice software available. Before issuing your accounts, we ensure that your ratios are consistent with HMRC requirements and that published results at Companies House will present a fair credit score.
Over the past five years we have reduced the audit fee of each new client by an average of 20%. Where we have been replacing a London based auditor this has risen to around 50% in most cases. Calcutt Matthews is a registered audit firm providing audit services in Kent and throughout the UK. We deal with clients with a turnover of up to thirty million pounds.
When we first meet with clients, after initial introductions, the first business question we ask a client is. We then work with clients by setting milestones, establishing KPIs and benchmarks for the business so that these things are genuinely achieved. Many accountants are merely interested in producing figures for you and making a profit on that work.
Most accountants will help you to save tax and keep you compliant. We believe the greatest value a real accountant can provide is to use his or her expertise to really help you grow your business and your cash. We therefore annually win awards for taking businesses from very low profitability or below average profitability to outstanding levels of profit.
We are a founding member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales Charities and Voluntary Sector group. We carry out audits for charities where these are required by the Charity trustees with annual income as small as 50,000 per annum, up to income in excess of 20,000,000 per annum.
