Donaghadee Sailing Club brings fun sailing opportunities for all ages and abilities in a safe, family friendly environment. Situated on Donaghadee's famous seafront with views of the iconic lighthouse and the Copeland Islands, our beautiful Clubhouse is the base for all of our sailing, racing, training, diving and social activities.
We are an RYA accredited training centre, RYA Onboard centre and have an active training and social calendar throughout the year for both members and non-members. Services
Donaghadee Sailing Club boasts an impressive modern clubhouse with state of the art facilities and stunning views over Donaghadee Sound. Donaghadee Sailing Club is located in the seaside town of Donaghadee, Co. Down on the east coast of Northern Ireland. Donaghadee has a long history with many of it's prominent features dating back as far as Norman times, including the harbour which dates back to the 17th century.
The GP14 is a popular sailing dinghy which can be used for both racing and cruising. The GP14 is used for all levels of sailing, from training beginners through club racing to competing at regional, national and world events. As a relatively stable boat it is ideal to learn to sail in and is sailed by people of all ages and abilities.
This Committee carries out essential day-to-day maintenance on the Clubhouse including putting up shelves, installing insulation, overseeing kitchen hygiene requirements, putting up curtains, painting & varnishing, cutting grass, taking bottles to the bottle bank and much, much more. Without them the Club would not be maintained to its current high standard.

Duck Down Divers are a shore diving club. We have a particular interest in exploring new shore dive sites and many of our members have a keen interest in Seasearch, Marine Biology, Photography and Videography. You can be assured of first class training and a very warm welcome to the Duck Down Divers.
