Most customers use us purely as a labour service, however if you are not sure of what to buy for a specific job, then give us a call first, so that we can advise you, because although we are happy to go and get anything for you, remember we charge by the half hour. All our handymen carry a full range of tools to tackle a huge number of different jobs.
We love small jobs, that is how we started and we will continue to do all the small jobs that, other trade companies don't want.
The reason other trade companies dont want the smaller jobs is, the way they normally price, that is, how long does it take to get to the job, what about wear and tear on the tools and van, what about wages and profit, and all you asked them to do was change a hinge if its a Joiner, or fix a switch, if its an electrician, and what happens if you need both done and a washer changed on a Tap to, altogether how much would the 3 of them charge you if you put them all together, you would need to take out a second mortgage, and we could probably do all 3 in 1 hour, so as you can see, they are simply, not set up as we are!

My daughter purchased a Tyneside flat in Jesmond Newcastle Upon Tyne during lockdown. I was finally able to make a 3 day visit from Essex 2 weeks ago. The flat needed various jobs done including repairs and painting to the outside. After trying various nos for handymen I found Bill!! He couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. He came round the next day and to my delight his team were able to do all the jobs . This included, re-rendering the front and painting the exterior plus the path and front. Laminate flooring, decorating, fixing a ceiling due to condensation, pictures , shelves

Handyman Newcastle did a fantastic job. They say no job is too small, and they mean it. I had a list 6 small jobs from replacing my fridge water filter to reinstating a stair bannister, which they completed within 2 hrs, which included a trip to the hardware store. They gave such a friendly and efficient service, that I asked them to paint my hallway and staircase. Again they were quick and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them from moving furniture, to working when I was at work. I will be using their services again and again.

I feel very lucky to have found these guys. Bill and his team are absolutely fabulous. The work is completed to a very high standard with regular updates and photographs of progress. Care and attention is taken on every aspect of the job. I cannot recommend them enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have had a very poor experience with this company and have found that they have been dishonest, evasive and carry out poor workmanship. We first contacted Bill to install a dishwasher. After a period of leakages we asked Handyman Newcastle to fix the problem. The employee who was sent did an excellent job to repair the original poor work. He found that incorrect parts had been forced on and that there was a generally poor standard of workmanship with loose valves left and a dishwasher that was unsafe as it could not be fully removed from the unit.
