Yell Autos provides an extensive range of vehicle services and is ideally situated for servicing the northern half of Shetland, being the only commercial repair garage in the northern isles and the only motor garage on the island of Yell.
Our fleet of vehicles can cater for a wide range of purposes. We run several bus routes and school runs in the north of Shetland, as well as providing taxi and vehicle recovery services. Our mini buses and coaches are available for hire for events and group transport around Shetland or trips off-island.

Services
In 1947 R.Robertson Taxi hire was established by Robbie Robertson a Merchant Seaman. Robbie started his business with just one car and gradually expanded by purchasing additional vehicles, which were used for both taxis and self drive hire. By the 1960s Robbie had been awarded several school transport contracts, which meant Robbie had to invest in some minibuses.
Besides these tours offered we can happily create bespoke tours to suit requirements if there are sights or places a group wish to particularly go. The minimum quantity for a tour would be 10 persons, prices are dependant on group numbers and tour choice.
Tours will be operating March to October from 8am until 8pm, simply complete the booking form for a quotation and we will endeavour to give you a tour that puts Shetland on the map to you and in your hearts forever!We will have you booking another visit to our beautiful Islands and hopefully another tour to get a fuller taste of Shetland.

R.Robertson and Son operate public bus services on behalf of the Shetland Islands Council, we are Shetland's largest transport operators. Services buses are low floor vehicles and wheelchair accessible. We also provide home to school transport on Yell and the Shetland Mainland, these contracts cover Midyell Junior High, Burravoe Primary, Brae High, Anderson High and Mossbank primary.

Lier this article is lies I was a driver and never isolated as sonia states here in the article avoid don't work for her don't get on her buses avoid her as she lied to the island of shetland in there local paper made herself look the victim but she isn't please please don't go and work for her the best think the shetland council can do is take her runs of her and give them to a company that doesn't lie and I can say that as I as said was a worker I posted on her page on Facebook but it was deleted and I was blocked
