Services
For nearly ten years Nova Studios have worked regularly in Hull's twin city of Freetown in Sierra Leone. We are currently working on two documentary feature projects. They Call Me Saviour tells the story of our friendship with a young footballer, Alhassan Kamara, and follows him from obscurity in Freetown along the difficult road to becoming his country's top striker.

Matt, Al and the rest of the Nova Studios team were excellent to work with on our video project. They grasped the key messages we were trying to communicate through the films really quickly and came up with great, creative ways to express them. We also had to produce the videos on a very tight timeline and they were very focused and good natured about this. Very professional, committed, talented and great fun to work with!

Nova Studios followed the Opera North Youth Company on a creative project entitled "Standing Together" around the theme of the Holocaust. From the first meeting I had with them, I could see that we were on the same page. They had lots of interesting ideas and input for this unusual project which was touching on a very sensitive subject. During the filming process, the team made everyone feel comfortable and really took time to understand what we were trying to create. The result is amazing.
