Due to our experience in designing line and price point of sale for Safeway, Morrisons and Tesco, the Head of Brand Marketing for Argos contacted Redface to ask us to review their in store POS range, the feeling was, it could work harder. Once all POS variants were collected and analysed, we started about the re-design process.
At Redface we're very fond of ASK Italian, as they were our very first restaurant client. An old friend gave us a call and ASKed for help. We were delighted to support ASK Italian as sole supplier with their creative, artwork and print procurement needs. Often, marketing teams are too busy doing great marketing to review who does their print, if they are best placed to do their work and if they are getting good value for money.
Our MD developed the Safeway Stores point of sale (POS) database, producing 480,000 unique POS artworks annually, without any human interaction. When Morrisons took over Safeway, our very first client was Morrisons. Redface were commissioned to ensure, during the transition period, POS was still produced twice weekly for the 487 Safeway stores.

Due to our MD's experience, working at Safeway Stores as Head of Creative and Studio, Tesco approached Redface to work with their Marketing teams to develop their in-house promotional leaflet sign-off procedure. Safeway was the first major retailer to produce national promotional leafleting on an industrial scale.
