St Georges theatre is small in comparison to many other theatres, however what it lacks in size in more than makes up for in quality shows. The building was previously a church and still has a lot of original pillars and wood panels. I have seen many productions here and always have a great time. Highly recommended. Pay a visit to the next show..... You will not regret it.

I have only been to Gt Yarmouth once way back in 1971.
I remember going to a show with my parents and seeing New World, Parrot Face the comedian was on the same bill and Freddie Garrity and I think Cilla Black was also on to.
I think it may have been this theatre, happy days

We love going to St George’s Theatre with our family every Christmas. It is a lovely venue with very helpful volunteers and staff, the production is always very good and family friendly - can’t wait for normality to return so we can visit the theatre again.

In 2018 the theatre underwent some structural work to the clock tower, where the year before a project to reroof the theatre was most impressive viewed indoors as one can learn the amount of woodwork and timbers that go into a building like this one.

Just seen 'Before it rains'. Absolutely brilliant performance. Very gritty and thought provoking. The standard of acting was first class as was the directing. An amazing evening. More productions like this please.

A lovely venue with a great variety of shows from plays to pantomime. Super staff will be there when help is needed. They have a terrific cafe where you can have coffee and cake during the day outside of the theatre. It is really charming.

It's a beautiful venue. I recently performed here in a theatre show, and while the acoustics mean you need to project your voice a little more, I can imagine for a band, it would be a fantastic place to perform. It seats around 250 or so, plus the balconies can provide additional seating if required. There is a small bar, plus separate male, female and disabled toilet facilities. The building itself is also a bit of a looker too!.

Attended St Georges Theatre last night to see Dirty Dancing and what a great night. The theatre, although a little cold, is beautiful. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The show was AMAZING...the cast were fab...not only talented with their dancing and singing but a really funny show with some little bits of adult humour. My daughter and I had the best night so thank you. Big shout out to the lovely lady that played Lisa!! You are a star....hilarious and made the show! Well done.
