Format Architectural Ltd is a small privately owned company specialising in the manufacture of complex, top quality, sheet metal fabrications for the construction industry. Our key strength is the indepth knowledge and experience of our team who have between them the wide ranging skills necessary to provide workable, cost effective solutions, for specifiers and contractors needs.

Format have produced aluminium spherical components to various radii and shapes. The panel beating skills needed to achieve some of these shapes are retained, in house, and are available to produce most spherical shapes. Double radius component produced in 2mm aluminium to facilitate requirements for differing radii in different planes.

Format hand build curved composite panels manufactured from PVF2 precoated steel sheet, utilising customers edge extrusions to achieve joint detail. We can convert most trapezoidal or sinusoidal insulated profiled panels to form mitred corners. Aluminium and steel precoated materials are suitable in most profiles with foam or mineral wool insulation.

Format Mitred Curves are produced from customers free issue curved profiled sheets. These sheets are accurately developed to achieve a close fitting joint up and over the curved portion. This elliptical joint lends itself to bracket and rivet construction, which is finally fully sealed on both inner and outer faces.

Fin section in both aluminium and precoated steel can be manufactured to suit customers requirements. Light gauge steel allows for very fine narrow fin profiles to be achieved whilst aluminium for Powder Coated finish tends to produce sections broader than steel. Tee Section Fin in 1.5mm aluminium to have welded stop-end one end prior to Polyester Powder Coating.
