Constructionline - the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. Access Mobility have been fitting adaptations including wet room showers, low level showers, ramps, kitchens and internal alterations for local authorities, housing associations, charities and private users for over 25 years.
We were one of the first companies to recognise there is a need for specialist contractors to carry out this type of work in the south east. The initial contact with us will be made by email, phone or through an occupational therapist. After acceptance of our quotation, we will provide and install all specialist equipment on an agreed start date time.

Services
Adapting your bathroom in to a level or low level access shower room which is suitable for both able and less able user alike. Provision and Installation of specialist sanitary ware, such as raised height WC suites and other specialist toilets, wall hung wash basins, lever taps and grab rails. Adapting your kitchen to make it more accessible and functional, but also to be suitable for both able and less able user alike.
We can remove your bath and fit a level access shower with a fold down seat, grab rails, half screen, curtain/rail and all necessary tiling to your taste or budget. Replace your existing kitchen units with a designed low level area with drop down baskets for wheelchair use and a standard area for more general use.
If you cannot find the answer to your query then please contact us and we would be happy to help. 2. I live in a flat how can you achieve a level access shower as there is a flat below me? We can fit a special auto waste pump, so we only need a minimum of space under the floor. 4. Will the floor be slippery if water is laying on it?
We carry out over 500 bathroom adaptations each year which can range from the bare minimum of work required, such as removal of bath, creation of level access shower area, curtain rail and curtain, safety flooring, remedial tiling, shower, grab rails and seat.
We understand that not everyone likes the idea of a wet floor shower area, in which case there are low access shower trays available in a large range of sizes to suit all room shapes, sizes and client requirements, and we are more than happy to offer these instead of a 'Wet floor'.

Kitchen adaptations for the less able are very important, as let's face it one way or the other we all seem to spend a great deal of time in the kitchen! Because of this, kitchen adaptations require a great deal of consideration and planning to suit the needs of the less able user, but also to suit the needs of any other able bodied persons within the home.

To anybody who is having work done by( ACCESS MOBILITY)
1st I read one review. Just because you or anybody else are disabled, does not give YOU or anybody else any right to any special treatment. You should be grateful. My husband has vascular dementia, and very bad mobility
We were saying how quickly my husband was assessed, and wet room finished in 9 weeks.we feel very privileged to have this work done for him
We were guided by the wonderful ZOE at custom services at every next stage.
ZOE made a point of saying to us at the begining, that the shower would not be able to be used which was totally

Very pleased and more than happy with the work carried out by Access Mobility, wet room looks amazing, decorating is due to be done but even without that it looks fantastic. Workman ensure carpets were protected throughout work and kept me well informed day by day, even asked me if I was happy with the process at every step. Would highly recommend

I have just had my bathroom `ripped out and had it replaced with a wet room`.
I was very impressed at the speed it was all organised and completed.and kept up to date all along the way,by a lovely lady called zoe who broke it all down bit by bit as too what was going to happen and when (very impressed). With nothing being too much trouble.
The whole team worked hard and cleaned up after themselves, there were a few minor snags that were rectified straight away.
They gave me a choice of colours etc to chose from, also allowed me to put in my ideas too.
Having this done has helped me no end to

I wouldn’t use this company the mess and the standard of work is appalling, they fitted a disabled bathroom and had to redo it as it was shocking ( a diy kind of job ) the installation took almost 2 months in total and during that time without access to a shower
I wish I had of seen the reviews first as I would of given them a wide birth
