Okay, so it was kind they could fit me in for a quick trim but I came out feeling 'scalped'. I said twice I don't like short fringes - what have I ended up with.... A REALLY SHORT FRINGE! I hate my birthday photos as my hair looks awful - you can't really hide a small fringe running high up across your forehead. Perhaps not having conversations… with colleagues whilst you are supposed to be paying attention would help. £28 for less than 10 minutes i also think is extortionate. Will i be going back......hmmm, let me take a nano second to think about that one. sorry, I definitely won

Thank you to Brad, Kellee & Rich for fitting me in at short notice yesterday and making me feel myself again. After working all through lockdown and turning up on my hols without even time for a cut, you have revived my hair with beautiful blonde highlights, olaplex treatment and a stylish cut and blow dry. Even after a day at the beach today it still looks fab! You made me feel welcome and comfortable whilst running a professional busy salon. Thank you all so much x

Jasmine, thank you so much for doing such a fantastic job on my daughters hair, with the cut and full head of hair highlights. The transformation is absolutely incredible. I hadn't realised there was still some… wash out dye in there from last year to work around which must of made your job so much harder but you would never know. The knowledge, expertise and customer service was amazing. will 100% be booking again for all future cuts and styling. can't recommend enough. Thank you!

The Hair Shop have always been amazing with my hair. Super lovely staff and a great atmosphere. For the first time the other day there was a little hiccup with the results.
However the team were so lovely and more than happy to correct it. In the end, I ended up with the lovely colour in so used to getting from them! & left with a smile on my face. Thank you so much Samm for being so kind and brilliant ☺️

Stylist Caitlan was lovely and did great job. Got hair dyed and half head highlights then cut and blow dry. I just about died at the price should have been £150 but they gave me a discount so cost £137. Although it was lovely I dont think it was worth that much. Very expensive hairdresser, I get the same treatment up in scotland for half the price.

Took my 88 year old mum for a dry trim at this hair dressers on Chester Road shops, The Hair shop. They charged her £26.00 for a dry trim, outrageous, how can they charge £26.00, cash only too, for 10 minute dry trim. Appalling!!!!!

Took my two year old boy in today to see Caitlin for a trim. From the minute we got there she was entertaining him and he absolutely loved all the attention she gave him, as well as a really lovely cut. … Fantastic customer service from everyone. Got chatting to trainee Jasmine about colour for myself and was so impressed with her advice I booked it there and then! Thanks everyone!

A very welcoming place and a great, positive staff. I was visiting and had my men's haircut done in a professional and fast manner.
At the salon was offered tea or coffee which is typical to how you would get treated in upper echelon salons, but at an affordable cost with great attitude and positiveness.
I certainly recommend this place to people locally or tourists visiting Newquay, Cornwall.

Kelly saved my hair!
I am forever thankful that a professional hair colourist / stylist says what she means and can deliver! I‘ve been fortunate enough to have had good strong hair, but it only took one episode locally with someone who with a load of experience didn’t listen to my wishes and turned my hair into a bit of a mess and mishmash of colour. Going grey gracefully from a red auburn to all grey was my wish and that didn’t happen!
But talking it through with Kelly she had all the confidence to ease my trepidations! She might be new to this salon but she knows her stuff! All the stylists

Went in for a colour treatment to this salon having had my hair trimmed there previously. Unfortunately I came out with my hair colour looking nothing like I had asked for - despite discussing the brief and taking in a picture. To the point when I got home, my husband and kids didn't notice I'd had anything done. The salon could see I wasn't overly happy with the end result at the time, and I rang in a couple of days later to ask for them to have another go at getting it the colour I wanted - seeing as I had paid £80. I travel 45 minutes to get my hair cut, coloured and styled here and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Everyone is professional, polite but relaxed here.
