The terms chiropody and podiatry mean the same thing. In the UK these titles are protected and can only be used by professionals who are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. Podiatrists deal with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders relating to the feet and lower limb. The podiatrists at SOS Podiatry are happy to treat and advise patients of any age whether healthy or unwell. Foot pain is not normal, should be dealt with, and we are here to help you.
Services
The Podiatrists at SOS Podiatry are happy to help with any foot related health problem, below are a number of the conditions and problems we regularly treat. Callus is a lesion of thickened hard skin generally in an area which is subjected to excessive pressure or friction. If left untreated the callus can develop into a corn which is a more localized area of hard skin with a central core.
Car: From the Inner Ring Road cross the A49 river bridge, continue over the lights and turn right onto West Street. Continue onto East Street and at the end of the road turn left then right onto St. Owen Street, SOS Podiatry is immediately on your left but if you follow the one way system to the right Gaol Street car park is just a few metres away on your left.

I visited back in July and before visiting was very nervous but the lovely lady on reception (my apologies I cant remember her name) made me feel very welcome and Wendy did a brilliant job on my feet, and is also a lovely character too. I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend.

Puzzled as to what my £50 appointment actually provided me with. Walked away still with infected toe and in pain. Poor service, unskilled podiatrist.

I visited Aimee at St owen's street Podiatry, on first impressions the receptionist on the phone was very helpful in answering any questions I had and arranged an appointment straight away for me. Aimee resolved this for me promptly and I haven't suffered since. The advice she gave me was very helpful too. Thank you for your service.
