We've lived at Greenway Farm for 16 years now, gradually establishing a popular and successful restaurant business from scratch (albeit launching in the midst of a pandemic). The restaurant is the culmination of a lifelong dream that gives rein to our combined passions for creativity, hospitality and community, and we're delighted that our children are also now involved - as well, of course, as Nigel and the Ubiquitous Ginger Cat!
It hasn't always been easy - gaining the necessary consents and permissions took us seven years - but life has never been dull. Whether tending to the sheep, pigs and geese, welcoming new B & B and caravan guests, foraging for fresh produce or relaxing with a glass of something chilled at the end of a long day, we love our life at Greenway and hope to share it with as many people as we possibly can.

Services
We're delighted to be back to a slightly new 'normal', with lunch and dinner menus available from Thursday to Saturday, plus Sunday lunch. The easiest way to book is online here, although you can also call us on 07557 449591, email [email protected] or visit our Facebook page. Please note that the online booking system is designed to prevent 'bottlenecks' by limiting the number of guests arriving at the same time.
If you're able to use the online booking system, it would assist us greatly - we're very 'hands on' and don't have dedicated admin staff. If you find you can't book on your preferred date, then it is probably because we're already fully booked. The dining igloos are especially popular, and due to 'no shows' we're now requesting a 10pp deposit which is fully refundable against your bill.
We show here just a few of our most popular food and drink options, but are happy to accommodate our clients' individual requirements. A selection of home-made sandwiches of your choice - which might include smoked salmon and cream cheese, egg and cress, ham, cheese and pickle or prawn mayonnaise. Served with roast potatoes or baby new potatoes in butter and a selection of salads, as above.
Greenway Pork - the finest rare breeds with real 'old fashioned' pork flavour. At Greenway we have been keeping pigs for about eight years, and specialise in some of the rarer, traditional breeds that modern day farming can sometimes overlook - breeds such as the Gloucester Old Spot, Oxford Sandy and Black, Middle White, Tamworth and Saddleback.
If you'd like to learn how to make delicious sausages, as well as some pig keeping basics, such as buying, housing, feeding, handling, keeping healthy and fattening, then we can help you. You might even decide that sausage-making would be a fun activity for a hen or stag party! Our one-day course usually runs from 10am to 4pm, and the price includes a delicious farmhouse lunch, tea or supper, plus tea, coffee and biscuits.

Small quiet site despite being near a busy road. The toilet/shower block is small but cozy.
There's a good dog walk in nearby fields.
The Town centre and local Retail Park isn't far and Morrisons is just up the road.
We can't comment on the restaurant food as we didn't sample any but the "igloos " looked lovely and were often very busy.
