Services
PDS Group Holdings is a privately owned Limited company owned and operated by four Directors. PDS Direct now employs over 74 staff and has a fleet of 59 units PDS has had 19 years of consecutive growth, is ISO.9001:200 certified and are graded 'TAPA B' for our warehouse facilities. Our speciality is in retail based industry.
All vehicles fitted with the latest tracking technology and linked in real-time to our TMS. We have a bespoke Web Portal available for all clients to track and trace each consignment. Portal provides 2 hour time windows for each consignment (updated in real-time), proof of delivery, hardcopy download and image or exceptions taken at point of delivery.
PDS Logistics provide order fulfilment and a number of other added value services. We already hold and manage stock for several companies based in the UK and abroad and efficiently distribute it to their customers. Using our order fulfilment services will allow you to concentrate your time and effort on your core activities and help you grow your business more quickly than if you were having to manage your own operation.
Our focus in Ireland is to replicate the quality services provided in the UK. Our distribution profile allows us to offer final mile transport for fragile and high value goods. It allows our UK customers to have a one stop solution for UK and Ireland. Centrally located with close proximity to the motorway network and easy access to major destination hubs.
To deal with all customer issues, ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered at all times. To ensure all daily, weekly and monthly admin duties are completed to ensure smooth support of the office. Progress customer orders. All orders to be checked before placing on system to prevent ODF's, Orders to placed on the system within 24hours of the order being given for issuing.

Absolutely shocking delivery firm. Order something from Toolstation, delivery quoted as 3 days. PDS got my item, but then day it was out for delivery apparently the lorry broke down (fair enough), each day for the next week was told it would be out for delivery the next day, nothing received, was then told a driver didn't turn up, but then told the lorry was taken by recovery and they couldn't or wouldn't get the items of it for re-delivery. Absolute shambles........oh and still haven't received item!

Not sure who checks driving licenses at your company but they clearly need looking at. Clap on the back to a little chicken driver of yours of a box Luton curtainsider van who tailgated me, tried to cut me up and gave the standard gestures (Which as per usual, he wouldn’t try to do if I confronted him) just outside of Motorpoint near your Oldbury depot. All because I was doing 35 in a 40. Luckily for your so called ‘driver’, I have all the footage on dashcam and will be going straight to the police on this. Incident happened at around 5:35 on Thursday 21th October, so you can track down the

Just had one of their drivers tailgating me on a windy Cornish road, after several miles where possible i pulled over as I didn't like having him that close, vehicle 500 yards in front, driver did exactly the same thing to them often less than a car's distance behind wouldn't call that careful driving for fragile parcels

Was told an item would be delivered between 2-4pm. Waited at the delivery location during this specific window of time. Was told by customer service that I should definitely expect the item between 3.30-4.30pm. At 5.30pm I got a call from the driver saying they would take at least another 45 mins, asking if I wanted the item tomorrow instead. Shambles. Of course I don’t want to go through this tomorrow. All customers want is an accurate estimation of when deliveries will arrive and some communication if things are not on track. Poor service

Absolutely shambles of a company, 2 man jobs for 1 person to do, treated like dirt. Staff not looked after properly and the pay may look appealing but once its broke down less than minimum wage. Planners plan impossible routes and expect you to race round to get it done within the allowed working/driving hours. Avoid this company at all costs. Staff turn round is unreal so save yourself the trouble. If I could give no stars I would.

PDS Direct have allowed their deliveries which are two man jobs to go out with only one man. A 1700x900mm stone resin shower tray is far too heavy for one person. As a result the tray was dropped by the delivery guy (not his fault) and now has to be returned as damaged. Nobody should have to do the job of delivering such heavy items by themselves. PDS should be ashamed at their abuse of their staff. Given the choice I would never use them again.

Like a previous reviewer, I worked here, for 2 days though. I saw his review and took it with a pinch of salt. I shouldn't have.
The company is totally unprofessional, the trucks (Other than the ones they show boat) are a disgrace, dirty an poorly kept.
As an employer I would strongly avoid seeking employment with this company.
I only wished I'd listened to previous reviews rather than wasting my time.
