EAS UK Asbestos have over 24 years of experience in the removal of asbestos. We can also provide you with an asbestos management survey and refurbishment and demolition surveys. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) are either known to contain asbestos, or presumed to contain asbestos.
We carry out a comprehensive survey to make a materials assessment and to find any asbestos-containing material (ACM), recording what it is, where it is and the quantity found.We also record how easy it is to access, the condition it's in and identify if there's any surface treatment. We will also record the type of asbestos by sampling it in line with 'Asbestos: The survey guide published by the HSE.

Asbestos removal costs can vary significantly depending on the type of material requiring removal. Asbestos materials can be initially split into two categories, licenced and non-licensed asbestos products. The purpose of the asbestos management survey is to manage ACM during typical use of the building. An asbestos surveyor will carry out the management survey to ensure that no-one is harmed or injured by the presence of ACM in the building. They will also ensure that the ACM remains in good condition and that no-one accidentally disturbs the area.
Where the building, or part of it, require upgrading, refurbishment and demolition a refurbishment or demolition survey should be undertaken. Our surveyor will need to carry out the survey which will ensure that no-one will be harmed by disturbed asbestos due to the work to be carried out. The survey will provide you with the identification and location of all ACM before any structural work begins.
If you have a material suspected of containing asbestos, a representative sample needs to be taken and sent for analysis. The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that all analysis of samples for suspected asbestos will be undertaken by EAS UK Asbestos who is accredited in compliance with the standard set out in BHOS P402.

I don't give 5 stars very often but well deserved. Craig and his team were responsive and friendly, the price was very reasonable, and they did a couple of extras for me. They also showed up exactly when arranged. I read up in advance on HSE guidelines for asbestos removal to make sure everything was done professionally but absolutely no worries there.
