Equity release plans - also called lifetime mortgages, home reversion or home income plans - are a way of releasing cash to make daily life more comfortable. These schemes essentially allow you to borrow money against the value of your home, with the debt being repaid from the sale proceeds after your death.

I genuinely could not recommend GM Wilson enough. The service we received from James Marris and Becki Reynolds has been fantastic; they have been incredibly responsive, efficient and reliable from start to finish. The solicitors acting on behalf of the other vendors in our chain were terribly incompetent and we felt so lucky to have James and Becki acting on our behalf.
