HPM used its materials knowledge to find the best grade of fortified polymer to create these core components for artificial feet. The demands of the application requires a flexible yet very tough material to be moulded around an aluminium cup, creating an artificial skeleton over which is moulded a cosmetic prosthesis.
Long thin-wall tube structures present no issues to MIM. This 316L Stainless Steel part incorporates many complex features that would be impossible to produce in volume by conventional metal-working techniques. This vehicle exhaust flange is moulded from 17-4PH Stainless Steel, offering maximum strength at elevated temperatures and anti-corrosion properties.
Finding the correct material for application was vital. This product is used in Heart Surgery and comes into contact with the Human Heart. Our extensive knowledge of materials and their possible applications ensured that no harm would come to any patient whilst in contact with this vital product. It took material knowledge and processing expertise to bring this diesel injector product to market.
Land Rover entrusted HPM to mould and assemble this Twist Grip Handle for the third row seating on its prestige Discovery vehicle. Built to exacting automotive standards, this assembly is manufactured and tested in high volumes and delivered on a JIT programme. This Sharps Container was developed and tested to withstand the rigorous demands of the world's medical standards.
