Hi there, lovely to meet you. I'm Henrietta Garden and I'm a professional photographer based in Crouch End, North London. You may be sitting in front of my camera sometime soon, so it's probably comforting to know a little about me. Before I was hiding behind the camera, I spent the first twenty odd years of my life on the other side of the lens as an actress.
Henrietta is so personable and friendly and was brilliant at putting everyone at ease which resulted in great shots being taken. I would highly recommend her without hesitation! If you are looking to get some great portraits of yourself or your team I highly recommend Henrietta. The shoot was relaxed and fun and I'm really happy with the pictures that she took - so many people have commented on them.
Yes, as an ex-actress I can completely empathise with this and felt exactly the same way each time I got that call. I always hated every minute of my shoots - being told to 'open your eyes more' or to 'relax'. I never failed to find the shoots horribly demanding and hugely intimidating, usually sending me into week-long depressions when I saw the end results.
Before you know it, those cute little smiles morph into snarling grimaces and your window to get those pictures is firmly shut! There's nothing more special than a gorgeous picture of your child during those innocent years to gaze at even when they're well into their teenage lives. Family photography sessions are of a particular favourite of mine.
Whether it's a conference, a drinks party or any other type of business event, it's important to have a professional event photographer there to capture it all for you so you can get on with making the event wonderful, safe in the knowledge that it will all be captured for you. Great event photography can say so much more than words ever can.

Henrietta is brilliant. Her pictures are so good, it was almost impossible to choose the best ones! I love them and the shoot was so much fun. She makes you feel instantly relaxed, so none of the session is taken up with the usual awkwardness. She sent me the contacts very quickly and I was absolutely spoilt for choice. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

It was a real pleasure to work with Henrietta and I am really delighted and pleased with my results. I had worked with a different photographer during the year and I wasn't happy with the results. However Henrietta's work has really exceeded my expectations and I will only use her shots on my website. The experience itself was also very enjoyable, Henrietta is charming, funny, kind and honest. I would definitely recommend her and I will be using her again in the future.

I shot with Henrietta a few days ago and I am so happy with my pictures. Henrietta made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and it shows in my pictures. With her own acting experience she really directed me well and captured the expressions I wanted. My agent was also very happy with the images and will be recommending to other actors on her books. Highly recommend Henrietta.

I’m not crazy about having my photo taken but I needed some headshots and action shots for my online dog training site. Henrietta’s a very talented photographer and she made the whole process great fun (the dogs enjoyed it too). I’m delighted with the results. Highly recommended.

My time spent with Henrietta was a wonderful experience from start to finish...this was my first time to have professional photographs taken, mainly for a website to promote my business. As well as being a first class photographer Henrietta has an extremely warm personality; I was put at ease immediately (I'm so not a fan of being the centre of so much attention!) and helped me to enjoy the whole experience. This is an exciting new chapter for me professionally & it was great to have Henrietta involved. With her warmth & humour, and her talent, I highly recommend Henrietta...she is also super efficient
