Helen set up Bonny Dogs in 2001 and works from home in Stiffkey and also has a salon and shop in Hunstanton Norfolk. Helen Nott (Bsc.hons) has over 25 years experience in dog grooming and animal care. Initially working for many years as a Microbiologist in the NHS her lifelong love of dogs led to a change of career back in 1989.
Helen worked and underwent City & Guilds training for 3 years with European grooming champion Marianne Lovelace at her grooming parlour and kennels in Great Glenn, Leicestershire. This involved full time dog grooming and care of all the dogs boarding at the kennels at the owners home. After moving to Norfolk Helen worked for Queens Veterinary University in Cambridge as a Haematologist and Microbiologist in their diagnostic clinic.

All treatments are geared to cater for the health, well-being & best appearance for your dog. Whether you require styling to breed standard or for an easy to maintain pet clip, all dogs are treated on an individual basis. Each appointment starts with a general all over health check and groom out. Your pet is then bathed, fluff dried and styled.

I have been taking my llasa apso Barney to Helen all of his six years. Even though we have moved Helen is definitely worth travelling the extra miles. There is only ever one dog at a time which is important, he is always made to feel special which of course he is!!!

I've known Helen for years my 2 Labradors decided to roll in a big pile of manure and they smelled awful and Helen fitted them in immediately given the circumstances of that they had both done she give them a good bath and and scrub she went the extra mile and they came home smelling amazing 100% highly recommend

My American Cocker, now nearly 13years old, has been going to Helen for the past 9 plus years. When I rehomed Isla, aged 3 and half, she was unsocialised and nervous of everything and everyone, but as Helen is so calm and gentle , Isla has never been afraid to be left in Stiffkey. She always looks lovely and I would highly recommend Helen , especially as it is a one-to-one experience for the dog.

We have 2 Norfolk terriers, which only the breeder seems to know how to style. Down at our caravan one weekend we spotted this shop and gave it a try. One is hand stripped and the other trimmed. We were really impressed with them and they seemed happy enough. She had bathed them, combed out knots in their "armpits" which even the breeder doesn'… t always touch. They looked lovely and we will certainly be back this year. Nice lady and good pricing. (we've recently taken them to a local one at home and I didn't like her or the results, so we do know the difference!) Highly recommend a visit

Dropped my 2 cocker spaniels off with Helen - one for a bath and cut, the other just a bath and tidy up. Collected them following the call from Helen to say they were ready. Both looked stunning and so pleased with whole experience - Helen is very softly spoken and calming for them. Price was also very good. In fact will be visiting her on our holiday visits rather than our regular groomer at home. Big thank you to Helen from us xx
