Scottish National Equestrian Centre Broxburn

The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is the state of the art venue for all your equestrian sports and activities. Situated in rural West Lothian, the centre is just 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and has excellent access to both the M8 & M9 motorways, thereby ensuring that access to the centre is easy for competitors and spectators from the United Kingdom and other European countries alike.

The centre boasts some fantastic facilities, including an international arena with viewing area, warm up arena and outdoor grass arena. The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is the venue for all equestrian and rural events in Scotland and we hope to see you soon.

Information for Visitors Report

When visiting the Scottish National Equestrian Centre please ensure that you do not block any access routes and adhere to all signage in the parking areas. This is to ensure smooth access for all attending vehicles and that emergency vehicles have access to the buildings at all times. Please note we operate a one-way system for horseboxes and trailers at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre.

Not the easiest to find but lovely centre, beautiful arenas to ride in and stabling was clean and draught free, many thanks to Shirley for being so accommodating as we arrived late in the evening

Booked stabling for Hopetoun horse trials.
Shirley the stable manager was so friendly and helpful.
Stables were immaculate including the water drinkers.
Toilets and showers were also available

Two huge indoor arenas and lots of fillers but can be cold and food stalls are usually there too

Seating is good you can see the whole arena. Was there in December and did not feel baltic. Food from the snack van was very tasty and not expensive

Fantastic place for Pugfest so much room for everyone!! Only problem was bottle machine ran out of fizzy drinks due to the demand!!
Ground not too difficult to walk on (I'm disabled with poor mobility) lots of parking spaces too. Great big thumbs up from me & my 2 pugs!! Bx

Fantastic international standard equestrian venue. Modern, bright and very we laid out. Excellent facilities and good parking too. Have enjoyed many varied equestrian events here, most recently an evening demonstration with Sir Mark Todd Olympic gold medallist eventer.
