If you are in for a colour service then you will be able to remove your mask during development time and whilst you are sitting alone but will need to keep it on when your Stylist is with you. I've never been more genuinely taken care of in a salon. John made sure that I was clear about the colour and spoke to me about what would be best considering my natural hair colour. The cut and colour both look amazing - best I've ever had done (by the lovely Georgia). Everyone really knows what they're doing and they make sure you leave with what you wanted. Very reasonable price and very hospitable during the visit. Would recommend to anyone.

We moved out of the area 5 years ago but we still travel in specially to get our hair done by Billie! You can always be guaranteed of a warm welcome from the whole team not to mention a hot cuppa and biscuits. … They couldn't have been more supportive after we had a baby. Their gowns are all breastfeeding friendly and they've got toys to keep the little ones occupied when they're on the move!! Once when I was there a young lady came in in her slippers to enquire how much a colour would cost. After finding out she'd just got out of the hospital Jon offered her a free hair wash there and then

I have being going to Jon guest for a number of years and I can honestly say they are a brilliant team of hairdressers who work hard in all aspects to make sure you leave more than satisfied with the service and looking amazing.
All the hairdressers are brilliant, I mainly get my hair cut by billie and I just wanted to share that from having my hair dyed pink, highlighted, bleached, cut - it doesn’t matter what I request she always puts her best into her work and I love the results I get !

I booked for hand painted highlights, specifically choosing to go to Billie because apparently she specialises in this. She has absolutely destroyed my hair, leaving it patchy all over and a completely different colour on one side to the other because she was rushing towards the end as she had another customer waiting. Instead of beautiful natural balayage I ended up looking like Id chucked 4 different blonde dyes over my head and left some 6 week roots for good measure. This was on virgin hair too which had taken me years to grow out :( The girl who cut my hair also used some weird twizzle technique

Should have left a review before now but ive been coming here for Billie to cut my hair for over 10 years now. Wouldn't let anyone else cut my hair. She's so great and super nice. She cut my mum's hair when she was going through Chemo and was so gentle and caring. You really couldn't ask for better service. If I could rate it 100 stars I would.

I've been going to Jon Hurst for years now and having my hair cut by the fantastically talented Billie. I cannot fault her work, her approach and advice. She's seen me through friendships, getting married and now a baby. Her guidance and help with what I'm looking for is always suitable. I cannot recommend this place enough, and Billie in particular.
