Donald Maclean is a Scottish artist born in 1962, living and working in North Ayrshire. After obtaining his Bachelor's Degree at Glasgow School of Art, Maclean went on to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Theatre Design at University College Cardiff.
After a 20 year career in the arts as a scenic artist and costume designer with several Scottish theatre companies including the Traverse Theatre, The Citizen's Theatre, Tron Theatre, Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet, Maclean has returned to his fine art roots and now concentrates on his painting practice.

Born in Chatham, Kent, in 1983 to Scottish parents, Jack Frame graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2007 with a sell-out degree show, followed by a Jolomo Awards for landscape painting in 2009. He continued to win the Standard Life Award, the Landscape Painting Prize, and the Landscape Drawing Prize.
Mark McCallum was born in North Yorkshire in 1964 and he studied at St Johns in York where he graduated in 1988 with a BA Honors degree in Fine Art and Media Studies, specializing in oil painting. He has since been widely exhibited in the UK and currently lives and works from Perthshire. Living in the Highlands since 2004 has given McCallum the opportunity to fully explore the outstanding and breathtaking landscape that Scotland has to offer.
Neil Wood has been a practicing professional sculptor and fine artist for three decades. He has many years experience teaching and lecturing in fine art and sculpture at institutions in the UK. He has worked in various settings; in education, as artist in residence and visiting lecturer, alongside his practice producing sculpture for exhibition and commissions.
Pauline Montgomery is a contemporary ceramic artist who trained at the Glasgow School of Art and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Ceramic Design. After a break to bring up her family, she returned to her artwork a few years back and she is now a full time artist. She currently lives and works from Glasgow, Scotland.

Stockbridge has a full-on cafe culture. You'd think the place was saturated with caffeine joints but this one is a bit different. The owners show art for sale on the walls as well as selling cards. The coffee is pretty good, the food is ok but it's a nice place to stop and look into every now and then.
