With more than 25 years automotive paint and bodyshop experience, James Wood (Automotive Refinishers) Ltd offers the highest possible standards of vehicle accident repair and paintwork at an extremely competitive cost. In addition to City & Guilds training, James is an ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) technician with the specialist skills to perform plastic welding on vehicle exteriors and interiors.
A highly proficient welding specialist, he is also able to carry out welding work to an exemplary standard wherever needed on cars and light commercial vehicles, and that's certainly worth bearing in mind when bumper bars can cost as much as 800 each on prestige vehicles!

Brilliant!!
I had a full rear bumper (including all trims, lower skirt and clips) repaired and refinished on a Volvo XC90 Metallic Blue at James Wood Auto Refinishers. I did a lot of research on companies in the surrounding area prior to contacting James Wood and I am happy to say I am glad I found JWAR.
All of my queries in regards to the repair process, paint matching, final finishing, time required, courtesy car, dealing with insurance company etc were all answered in a professional manner by James, Veneta and Emma.
The quality of the work is fantastic and communication all through the process

We’ve just had some vintage mobile office pedestals resprayed by James Woods. The quality and finish is just amazing, we are absolutely over the moon!!
Also, we were really impressed with the professionalism and level of service, the quote was quick and detailed, a slot booked, and the work was done just perfectly and within time. They seem to really care about the job and the service they provide.

This was my second time using James Wood and I am very happy with the service and quality of work. My Transporter has a Long Wheel Base and Woods oven is big enough to take the van. I was delighted that they could do the work because I had used them a few years before and they did good work. And the owner is very hands on.
