Start Together Recording Studio

Based in Belfast Cathedral Quarter, Studio 1 is our main recording facility with two live rooms and a control room. This studio houses over 15 Guitar and Bass amps, 6 Six Drum kits, 9 Snare Drums, 15 keyboards and Synths, Over 40 Microphones and racks of world class Microphone Pre-amps to ensure we can always find the sound you are looking for.

The studio also houses many drums, amplifiers and instruments in our multiple live rooms and recording spaces. We also have smaller rooms which can act as booths for guitar cab isolation and we have access and tie lines to a 3 storey concrete stairwell, tiled bathroom and a few more alternative brick spaces for natural ambience.

Our Mix Room and Production Studio houses a classic SSL 4000 g/g+ series console with Pro Tools HDX and Logic Pro X DAWs. There is a 8' x 6' overdub booth, perfect for vocals, acoustic instruments and guitar overdubs. The studio also has API "The Channel Strip", a Tubetech CL1b compressor and microphones including Telefunken ELA M251 E valve condenser, AKG c414 and Electro-Voice Re20.

Our writing, production and mixing studio is designed to cater for producers and self-recording musicians to bring their own portable recording systems and "hot desk" into our monitor set up while availing of our excellent vocal booth, microphone and pre amp set up and also providing the luxury of our air-conditioned, specially built studio surrounding with fast wifi, kitchen and WC facilities, all with secure onsite parking and 24 hour security.

Making a new recording is our favourite part of music. It's a magical and creative time when collective ideas and inspiration combine to form something new and truly unique. This energy drives our obsession to provide the best possible environment for musicians to explore and record in. We appreciate that arranging and booking all the aspects of a recording can be a daunting task.
