We are a Family run, Independent Garage situated in the picturesque village of Sandford on Thames, on the outskirts of Oxford. Our policy is and always will be, to offer best value to our customers. Whether you need a simple oil change, regular tyre pressure checks or a major engine repair, we have you completely covered with our full range of car maintenance and repair options. Our professional team of automobile mechanics have the expertise and knowledge to evaluate your vehicle and determine the services that will fix or improve its performance.
Vehicles that are three years and older, must hold a valid MOT certificate to be allowed on the road. If you need a MOT test outside our normal opening hours, get in touch and we will do what we can to help. Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road appreciates the importance of ensuring its road-worthiness.
All of our Technicians are fully qualified and have many years experience of working on all makes and model of car. If a warning light appears on your dashboard your cars management system will log the fault. We have the equipment to investigate, diagnose and fix the problem to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Carbon Cleaning is a safe, quick, and efficient process that is applied through the vehicles air intake. A small amount of hydrogen is used by our advanced de-carbonisation equipment. The process results in the inlet system, cylinder head and exhaust manifold being cleaned without any damage of interference to the vehicle.

These guys are top notch. Had a compressor and fan belt replaced on a Peugeot 308. Car was collected and dropped off as part of the service. Very reasonable pricing. Quality work, and no ‘hidden extras’ to surprise you. If you don’t know much about cars, or if you’ve had bad experiences with mechanics/garages in the past, TJ Hall is the garage to go to.

Had an issue with my Air conditioning on my Audi A6, James and his team really went above and beyond to getting me some fresh AC, diagnosed the problem very quickly and arranged for the parts to be in that… afternoon. Very friendly group of people, I’m so impressed I’ll be taking my Audi for its annual service here from now on! Highly recommended!! Cheers again gents Chris.

Excellent first time experience. Very impressed with this Company. Booked for a Full Service & MOT. Very happy with the cost. Booked in within two days. Full work completed in a timely manner. Return paperwork given in a plastic wallet to keep it all together. Reminder sticker in car for next checks. Advice given for upcoming maintenance ie tyre tread. These guys treated me great. They were professional, honest, good communicators and fast. But more importantly, they went the extra mile. My car had a difficult problem and a hard to find part and they put in a lot of effort to help me out.
