Services
The New "Animal Welfare Regulations 2018" were introduced in October of last year. The higher standard of which requires; "A member of staff with a relevant OFQUAL regulated Level 3 qualification must be present during the working day". It is our firm belief that we have MORE QUALIFIED STAFF than any other local Kennels or Cattery.
Unlike other kennels locally ours are purpose built for dogs and not converted stables or piggeries. Each kennel is heated and has its own exercise run adjoined to it, allowing uninterrupted use throughout the day. All exceed industry size guidelines to an average of 160%. We have single kennels, double kennels and even triple kennels, for dogs sharing from the same household.
Charlesberry Cattery was totally rebuilt in 2002 with the remit of comfort and hygiene in mind. There are 4 cat houses each of which are divided into 10 apartments. 5 of the apartments have views of glorious countryside to the west, the other 5 have pleasant garden views which are swathed in morning sunshine.
Please note unlike a lot of our Competitors we charge HALF daily charges. For example if you drop your Pet off in the afternoon we will only charge you for HALF a days charge for the day of arrival. Likewise if you collect your Pet in the morning of the day of departure, we will only charge you for HALF a day's charge for that day.

Horrid place. Dog came back to us smelling of urine and looking like a vagrant compared to previously.
Customer service was shocking as well. The girl at reception was rude and e-mail communications on return from holiday were error prone from their side and then actually rude.
Fogot the bedding that we gave and toys, twice over on pick up.

Highly recommended, our various cats have been having their hollibobs here for nearly 20 years. Our latest re-homed Ginger had his 1st cattery experience in May 2021 and at just a year old, Barney-Bear had so much to tell us when he came home, we could tell he'd had a good week! He particularly likes Emily the Cattery/Kennel Manager (or anyone… that talks to him and/or feeds him!) Barney said he is aiming to give out cuddles at future visits and won't be camera shy😻 It is a pleasure to know Barney is loved and cared for when we take our holidays, knowing he will be comfortable, warm

We moved to Milton Keynes about 6 years ago with 1 dog and 1 cat, didn't really know the area but came across Charlesberry Kennels as needed them looking after and haven't looked back since... now with 3 dogs and cat they all stay a few times a year for a weekend or longer break, the dogs all stay in together which is great and I feel happy and confident they will be looked after well!!
Emily and Stuart have been very friendly and accommodating, as are the other staff, would definitely recommend....

Charlesberry Kennels is really a great place for your beloved pets. They take great care to get to know your pet and are always willing to go the extra mile. Medicines are responsibly given at no extra cost.
Our 2 dogs always come home well and the carers obviously know them. We have used the boarding kennels regularly and have never had a problem .We leave them in their good care knowing they are well looked after.

We have left our two furry friends JD And Whiskey at Charles berry for a number of visits over the past two years and have have always found it to be a safe warm environment for our cats. Even in the depth of Winter the accommodation is warm, safe and cosy.
The staff are always progressional and friendly, booking is easy. Yes their is a dog kennel on site but in the cattery you cannot hear the dogs, unlike some other cattery s with dog kennelling on site.
We have no hesitation in recommending Charles Bury as a clean, safe and welcoming cattery

My 18 month puppy has recently spent 2.5 weeks with Emily and the lovely team at Charlesberry Kennels & Cattery. I found this wonderful kennels by chance after my usual kennels did not have space for my boy. I will now never use anywhere else. They have loved and cared for Buddy like he's their own. Sending me thoughtful and reassuring updates… and pictures throughout his stay too. Charlesberry has clean, spacious kennels and a secure field. Walks and runs are on a 30 metre long line lead so you can relax knowing they are safe whilst still being able to get their regular exercise. They

We have been using Charlesberry to look after our two cats since early 2016. From early on they remembered us as a family and make the whole process of having the cats stay with them very simple and smooth.
We know the cats are in good hands during their own holiday and would/do recommend them to anyone looking for a place to keep their cats/dogs when away from home.

My dogs stayed here in July and when we collected them they were in good spirits, healthy happy and so clean.
I can also tell by their behaviour post board how incredible Charlesberry Kennels are.
The staff are so kind and so helpful.
We will definitely be using them again as our first choice for our fur-babies future holidays.

My 9 year old Sheltie, Casper, has been coming to Charlesberry kennels since he was 4 months old and he’s always been very well looked after. The kennels are run extremely well and the staff are polite and helpful and obviously love all the dogs. My cats have stayed at the cattery too and have benefited from the same level of care. It’s always very worrying when you’re trying somewhere for your loved pet for the first time but I have no hesitation in recommending Charlesberry.

I have used Charlesberry Kennels many times over the past 4 years. My Golden Retriever, Seth, is always happy to see the staff and when I collect him he has clearly been well looked after. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and hard working. They were recommended to me by my sister who has two Cockerpoos who also enjoy their holidays there.
