Depending on which course you choose to undertake, the IPAF Operator Course covers three categories of mobile elevating work platforms. Boss Training is proud to be one of the leading IPAF training course providers in the UK, capable of delivering IPAF accredited training courses for working at height and operating powered access platforms.
Working at height presents a whole host of hazards and threats to health and safety - but much of the risk can be mitigated with adequate training and following industry best practices. Our IPAF Safety Harness Training Course is designed to keep all attendees safe when using harnesses within the workplace, as well as making them aware of the potential dangers faced when using the equipment.
Any company that uses Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) needs to know what their management and legal responsibilities are when it comes to allowing employees to operate MEWPs.
Under UK health and safety legislation, specifically the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and the Work at Height Regulations 2005, employers are required to train all employees who plan, supervise and manage work at height and the use of any equipment for such work.

The term 'Push Around Verticals' (PAV) refers to non-mechanical and often small vertical platforms, which are manoeuvred into place by hand, rather than relying on an engine of any kind. PAVs provide a low-level access platform and are designed to meet working at height regulations, making them considerably safer than ladders and steps and cheaper than scaffolding and powered access platforms.
The PASMA Combined training course has been designed for employees, from a whole host of industries, to gain both the standard PASMA training course (Towers for Users) as well as the PASMA Low Level Course in one day. By combining both courses, your organisation can benefit from a cost and time effective training solution for up to 8 delegates.
