Designed to relax, revive and rejuvenate, Savasana Therapies offer an oasis of tranquillity from a world of busy lifestyles. Savasana Therapies is comprised of holistic therapies such as Traditional Thai Massage and Chavutti Thirumal. Savasana Therapies offers treatments from very mild relaxing Thai Oil Massage to very strong and invigorating Thai Yoga Massage.

For those who would like to be properly pressed and smothered in oil, there is a Chavutti Thirumal therapy. Throughout the years of giving Thai massage treatments, I have seen people resting at the end of their treatments in the Savasana pose and that made me think what actually my treatments are about.
Services
Chavutti is performed on a cotton covered memory foam mat on the floor. I hold onto a rope for balance and use my feet to apply techniques ranging from rapid friction across the muscle fibers to long, sweeping therapeutic motions from fingers to toes. Traditional Thai Yoga massage uses no oils or lotions.
Thai massage works from the belief that tightened muscles lead to the diminished flow of energy in your body. When energy can't flow freely, you become inflexible, suffer pain and feel stiff. Overtime, this leads to shortened muscles and connective tissue that affects your posture, immunity and organ function - all of which speed up aging and disability.
There are many reasons to keep our body subtle: to improve our flexibility; to increase our active range of motion, our mobility; to restore post exercise tissue length; or to reduce contractile properties of overactive muscles. The focus of flexibility-orientated stretching is to improve tissue elasticity and pliability, not the length.
We ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment if you have not been to Savasana Therapies before. This is to ensure you are able to benefit from the maximum time of your treatment. You will also be requested to complete a short health questionnaire before your first visit. We regret that it may be necessary to shorten the length of your treatment by the time you are late.

Jana is a miracle worker. Such incredible intuitiveness and with an incredibly wide ranging palette of techniques you are guaranteed to leave feeling well massaged! Couldn't recommend more highly.

I've tried several Thai massage therapists in the UK over the years and Jana is the only one I'd ever go back to. She's trained in traditional Thai Yoga techniques, and customises her work to your body and comfort level. I always leave feeling relaxed, flexible and 2 inches taller. I really love her studio too, it's very calming and comfortable and better equipped than most rented rooms in spa's etc. Really can't rate her highly enough!

Lovely experience. I realise I'd been neglecting some of my muscle groups for years! Afterwards I felt invigorated, refreshed and had more energy. Will definitely be back!

An amazing 1.5h massage had recently. I had a Thai massage which really relieved pressure and aches in my lower back; it felt like my body had a real workout and then the calming meditation at the end provides a fantastic holistic treatment. I will definitely be using again and can highly recommend. 5 stars!

Having used massage treatments in London as a holistic stress reliever, when my husband booked Jana for me two years ago I was expecting the usual. However Jana's thai yoga massage delivered above and beyond all my expectations, now as a Mum of 2 it helped relieve all the aches and pains that go with heavy car seat lifting and child carrying! As well as perhaps more importantly some much needed time out for a sleep weary Mum. Jana is not only exceptional, you can tell she is experienced and knows precisely what she is doing. This should be part of anyone's monthly routine. Can't recommend more
