It is a check on the overall health of your eyes and many signs can be found which help us detect certain general health conditions. Regular eye exams are important as with many eye conditions prompt diagnosis and treatment if required can help prevent potential sight loss.

Had the distinct pleasure of being one of the first customers of Graeme Black Eyecare. First class experience from start to finish. Was greeted by the delightful Cathy upon arrival and offered a coffee, never a bad thing when you are offered a free coffee. I had the opportunity to browse and try on lots of frames from the extensive range on show and Cathy was on hand to give insightful advice.
The exam itself with Graeme was extensive with state of the art technology, I particularly enjoyed seeing the 3D scans of each eye. I left knowing with Graeme’s expertise that I had the best possible prescription

Just received my new glasses from Graeme Black eyecare and couldn't be happier.
The eye test I received was most comprehensive, Graeme uses the latest scanning technology that took photos of my eyes to help diagnose any issues or potential long term problems.
Graeme recommended an anti glare Zeiss lens that is stunningly good to look through. Its the best lens by far that has ever been in any of my glasses, perfect if you are stuck behind a computer screen during the day.
The staff at Graeme Black eyecare are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Excellent local optician. Graeme and the staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and highly entertaining.
My eye test was extensive and fully explained throughout. Afterwards all options were presented with very honest advice, so honest in fact that I did not end up buying anything!!
