We will work with you to ensure that your money is working effectively and in a way that is consistent with your financial priorities and objectives. There should no hidden "surprises". It can be prudent to make some provision for the unexpected. Investment strategy for most clients is a compromise.
The same disciplines apply over the various portfolios such as ISA, General Investment Accounts, Bonds and Pension investments. It is clear from academic evidence that it is the key determinant of relative portfolio performance. The asset allocation will be diversified between investments with differing characteristics and correlations.
All clients have an annual review with the principal together with additional interim meetings, as required. You are making full use of your annual allowances such as Income and Capital Gains Tax, IHT exemptions as well as your allowances for ISA and Pension. Sometimes these investments will be funded by rotating funds from within your existing portfolios.
